IPMAT (Five-year Integrated Program in Management) for Plus-two students
IPMAT is a prerequisite for admission to various Post Graduate programs of IIMs.
IPMAT is also used by top non-IIM institutions. The process may also include Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interviews (PI).
IIMs may additionally use other factors such as the previous academic performance of the candidates, gender, academic diversity and other inputs in shortlisting and ranking of candidates at various stages of the admission process.

Indore IPMAT Exam Structure
- Indian Institute of Management Indore prescribes the exam pattern of IPMAT.
- According to the IPMAT exam pattern, the paper has two main sections, which are Quantitative Ability (QA) with MCQs, Quantitative Ability (QA) with Short Answers (SA), and Verbal Ability (VA).
- The IPMAT 2024 exam will be conducted in online mode, and the total time duration of the paper is two hours.
- The candidates have to face a total of 100 questions, and there will be section-wise distribution of time.

IPMAT 2024 Exam Pattern – Marking Scheme
- For every correct answer, 4 marks will be granted.
- In the case of MCQs, one mark will be cut for every incorrect answer as per the provision of negative marking.
- For unattempted queries, neither the marks will be granted nor deducted.
- Negative Marking – In the case of the Quantitative Ability- SA section, there will not be any kind of negative marking.
